Wowowee on WoW
I started playing World of Warcraft the other day. I had a $20 gift certificate at Best Buy and the game dropped down to that price so I decided to check it out. It’s been a couple of years since my last MMORPG game (Star Wars Galaxies) and I’m worried to start a new one since the last time I played, I didn’t get much sleep. Well to help make sure that doesn’t happen I ended up buying the 2 month cards for $30 rather than have it deduct automatically from my credit card. By the way, this game runs so smooth on both my MBP and PowerMac G5. On top of playing the game in window mode, I can rip a DVD and convert video files all at the same time. Gotta love OS X and Apple hardware

I’m only a level 10 Druid but I just started playing 2 days ago. So far it’s good, not compared to SWG (before the stupid patch) but it’s entertaining.
Update: I’m a level 70 now
Coppermine upgraded to 1.4.9
I just upgraded my Coppermine gallery to the latest version. Please let me know if you run into any problems while viewing it.

Fun with my camera phone
Took a day off today to get some ultrasound done. For some reason my doctor advised me to get one. Hope they don’t find anything bad. Anyways, after the Kaiser trip E and I went to Best Buy and picked up Voltron DVD – brings back memories. Also took a handful of pics from my Nokia E70. Sorry Red and Jepoy for sending all those MMS haha it’s good to have unlimited messages. Well here’s the pics I’ve taken throughout the day.

New goodies from Apple
Today Apple released their new versions of the iPod. Nothing major. All got a higher capacity version, the Shuffle got smaller, and the Nano got new colors (no more white?). Here are some pics:

iTunes also got an update to version 7. It has some nice new views. Since iTunes Music Store (ITMS) started to sell movies, this update was inevitable. There are numerious new features. One feature is the new view screens. It also downloads album cover automatically (assuming the album is available from ITMS). There is even an option that allocates space for you iPod for just movies, music, pictures, files, etc.

You can now save your library onto a CD or DVD. If you’re like me, this feature is useless since my library is over 40GB. But you can either backup your library onto an external drive and or save the library on an external drive. That way if your primary HD fails, it’s not affected.
But the best feature has got to be the multiple libraries feature. Finally it’s free! I have yet to fully play with it but the little time I did, I’m impressed. Here’s some more screen shots.
