My TL is now 4 years old and 100,000+ miles

My car’s 4th birthday. On top of that, I reached 100,000 miles too. So far I’ve had a handful of B2 services and a bunch of A1 services. I’m on my 4th set of tires. After the crappy EL42s that came with the car, I’ve used Yokohama ES100 (if I remember correctly) and Falken ZE329. The Falkens I’m using are my current favorite. I’m on my second set. The Yokos were okay but got too noisy as it got old. The Falkens got noisy too but not as bad. I’m never going back to the Bridgestone Turanzas from the experience I got (blewout – http://tl.acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=112449).

Anyways, after all those miles driven, she still runs great. It’s mostly freeway miles and I’m getting 28-30 mpg.

Experience with Korean Air

After taking Philippine Airlines many times and the many times I’ve been disappointed with them, I finally tried a different airline. We recently took a trip to Philippines and used Korean Airlines instead. Not only was it cheaper than PAL but the service and flight was better. The planes are newer too. Each seat had its own LCD display where you can watch any movie you like from a selection. On top of that, you can pause, rewind, fast forward, etc. There was a 2.5 hour stop over in Seoul, Korea. At first I thought it was bad but once there, we just hung out, ate, and took pictures. Time flew by quick. The flight length is almost as long as using PAL. I don’t see myself using PAL again unless they stop being stingy and get better service. Hope many of you open up your eyes and do the same thing too.

3 weeks in Phi for our Wedding!

Its been more than 3 weeks spent in the Philippines and here we are again in America. We had a nice, busy first week, fun 2nd week and a holy third week.
The main reason for our trip is our church wedding and I’m glad to say that it turned out the way that we planned it to be. Thanks to the people who really helped us to make things possible. To both our parents who shared with us the expenses for a nice wedding. And to my mom, she is so great, Thanks Mommy! While I did the planning my mom carried it out my plan since I am not there in the Philippines. She really made time to talk to all the suppliers and go to various bridal fair to get discounted rates.
My husband will post the pictures for you guys to see what we have prepared for.

Our first week was busy since a lot of trip was to meet up with our suppliers.
After the wedding, we were able to go in Sonya’s Garden in Tagaytay City, Manila Ocean park, Kamay ni Hesus in Lucban Quezon, and Palaisdaan in Bay Laguna.
Its a first for my hubby and Jeff, his good friend who is his best man, to have a procession on Good Friday for the observance of the Holy Week.
Overall, me and my hubby have set our minds to save enough so we can go back and live in Philippines. We don’t know when, hopefully after we win the lotto:), but hopefully we will be able to save a lot and move. There is still no place like home but at this time the opportunities in Phi is very limited, thats why we want to make the most of our stay here in America.
