I used to be with VPS.net but their VPS servers kept having storage drive failures which corrupted its hard drive. So I kept getting calls from clients saying their website didn't exist - the VPS had died! Anyway, I tried Dediserve. I think they got given a massive grant by the government in Ireland to invest in cloud hosting as their directors had prior experience in setting up an ISP. So far it's awesome, their connection speed is crazy - I downloaded 18MB of unix updates in less than 1 second! After I ordered the new server, moved and set 30 domain on it, I found out to my horror that because I decided to go with centos, I don't have PHP 5.2 preinstalled. Check your php.ini and see if mcrypt is commented out. It should have a semicolon in front of the line. Just remove it. Apache may have to be restarted.
